Caymus Vineyards started production with just 240 cases of Napa Cabernet in 1972. Today, they are one of the top producers in Napa Valley and have a whole family of wines in production. The Wagner family took the name ‘Caymus’ from the Mexican land grant known as Rancho Caymus, given to George Yount in 1836. Today this land is known as Rutherford and Caymus wines are known for their drinkability.
