Morgan Twelve Clones Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands 2019
The “Twelve Clones” Pinot Noir is drawn from the finest vineyards of the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation, including Morgan’s organic “Double L” estate. The wine starts off with aromas of dense blackberries, cured meat, and plum. The body is elegant with medium weight and shows great acidity with balanced fruit. Grill up some chicken or salmon and call it a day.

The Morgan winery was established before Santa Lucia Highlands was even considered an appellation in 1982. Dan struck gold when planting his Pinot Noir Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. Today, the wines are considered some of the finest from the area. We chose just two wines from the lineup. These are ultra-drinkable, completely organic, and beautifully structured wines at a great price.
