Domaine de la Vougeraie Mazoyeres Charmes Chambertin 2016

Grand Cru wines from the Charmes-Chambertin region of the Cote de Nuits are known for Pinots with a highly fragrant nose and soft, ripe fruit flavors in their youth. This wine is fermented with whole clusters from a single parcel. It “…has a tightly wound, quite floral bouquet that gradually opens. The palate is medium-bodied with flesh ripe red berry fruit, fine minerality... quite dense with touches of blood orange and spice toward the finish.
